My plan for publishing my AR project involves two special education journals. Since my first degree is in Special Education and all the students I teach have some form of learning difference I feel these are the best choices for submission. My first choice is Journal of Special Education Technology (JSET) that publishes 4 issues a year. Topics appropriate for this journal are discussions of issues, program models and trends in the use of technology in the field of Special Education. I chose this publication because it encompasses my entire AR project and I felt it was the best option to share my work.
My second choice is The Journal of Learning Disabilities (JLD), an international, multi-disciplinary journal, publishes articles on practice, research, and theory related to learning disabilities (LD). Published bimonthly. I chose this publication because it was a Special Education Journal and that is my first passion, incorporating technology makes my job that much easier and sharing the information I have gathered with others would be a privilege.
